UP THERE is an acronym that really gets to the heart of what we do and who we are: United Partners Through Human Equine Relationship Experience. Our team is made up of people, horses, cats, and dogs. Rachael Loucks, Ma. Ed.
A graduate of the HERD Institute, Rachael uses her experiences as an Equestrian, Educator, and Home visitor to help guide her sessions with you. Her dream is to help you reach your fullest potential!
Equine Specialist
Rooster Loucks
It’s really true, his name IS Rooster. He is our resident Equine Specialist and the guy who keeps EVERYTHING running, fixed, and orderly around here. He has served in the National Guard and our Operation Horses Heal Veterans Services is favorite project around here.

Equine Team Members
Hoss
Hoss is a Quarter horse who came to our herd about 7 years ago. He seems to enjoy hanging out with Max, the German Shepard.
Cody
Cody is a Quarter Horse who joined our herd about 4 years ago. He is a Rooster’s pal and is Princess’ “best buddy.”
Kohl
Kohl quickly became our herd matriarch. While she currently has no foals here, she seems to have no trouble “mamma-ing” anyone she is around.
Princess
Princess is a mini with a BIG personality!

Dixie is Teddy’s good friend. She and Teddy were roommates prior to coming to live with us. Dixie loves a good scratching.

Want to share a quiet snuggle with one of the farm pups? Frankie is your guy. He’s been known to shoulder a good cry or two also!

Max is a young man with a lot of energy. Timid at first, he will quickly warm up to you when you’ve got a ball in your hand!

Ralph has been promoted to farm supervisor!
